Summer Enrichment Program 2025: Compose Your Brilliant Best!

Pigeon Community Multicultural Development Center invites students to Compose Your Brilliant Best! Our nine-week Summer Enrichment Program is designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking through a fun and active curriculum of academic learning, music, arts, and hands-on STEAM activities.

Open to kindergarteners through middle school students in Haywood County, our program provides a structured, supportive environment where children can explore new ideas, build confidence, and strengthen their skills in reading, math, and the arts. Each week is guided by engaging themes that encourage self-expression, teamwork, and leadership.

Students will also enjoy weekly field trips, special guest workshops, and community-building activities—all while forming lasting friendships and lifelong memories.

How to Help

Counselors and interns assist with the SEP. PCMDC relies on volunteers to help with many things such as reading with the students, food preparation, cleaning, building, materials prep, organizing, setting up classrooms, and preparing the kitchen and pantry areas. Financial gifts very much welcome and can go to support scholarships for students whose family many not be able to cover the cost of enrollment.
